Well the Indians just got swept for the second straight series while the most runs they put on the board was 4. That is awful.
At this point in time I have no idea what they can possibly do improve their offense. It is going to have to come from outside the organization. Mark Shapiro needs to step up and make a damn trade. Until then I don't see the Indians improving.
They are almost dead to me, they are that bad right now.

Make a Trade Mark Shapiro
Well I just suffered through watching another Indians poor offensive game.
1 run. 1 run. That is down right horrible.
Sabathia pitched another good game- two mistakes and hose were turned into solo shots. That was it. He fanned 8.
Right now there has to be a rift forming in the club house.
The starting pitchers go out everyday they pitch great- Second best so far this season. They only give up say 2 runs. Then what the offense only gives you one run. Constantly this is happening it cannot be good for club morale.
My suggestions. Stop shaking up the lineup with you have now. Shake up the lineup with players from outside the organization.
This means making a Damn trade Mark Shapiro.
I know you don't like giving up arms for bats, but for the love of God you have to do something. We have another good looking pitcher in Double-A right now so we would keep our pitching depth.
Just make the Damn Trade mark Shapiro. As it is now the Indians are losing fans with the poor play. This is a team that was one game from the World Series last season. Now they can't even score enough to beat the Reds?????
Something needs to be done, and it needs to be done from the top of the organization. That means you Mark Shapiro. Make the Damn Trade.
One more time if you didn't get this. You need to make the Damn Trade Mark Shapiro.
Thanks for reading my ramblings.

The Cleveland Indians
The Cleveland Indians are struggling. No way to deny that.
As a die-hard fan I am getting furious at this team. Why you might ask they are only 1.5 games out of first place?
Well they can't hit worth a hay penny. For those of you who don't know what that is that is half a penny.
The Indians are only averaging 4.1 runs a game. While hitting under .240 for the year as a team. I am normally a proponent of Batting Average doesn't mean all that much as long as you score. Well for a whole season you can tell that they are not taking the same approach at the plate that they did last year. It doesn't take a baseball know it all to realize that that is not very high.
Now let us chronicle some of the batters problems.
Grady- No real problem still the best player on the team.
Victor Martinez- A recent dry spell and still hasn't hit a Home Run (we need him to get going)
Travis Hafner- Can't hit for a darn anymore. Though moving him down looks like it is helping.
Garko- The guy knows how to get on base
Dellucci- Well he has problem in normal play but he is pretty damn good in the clutch
Guttierez- Strike out a lot but doesn't get enough hits (defense warrants playing time)
Casey Blake- The Batting Average isn't there but that doesn't matter for him as long as he has the RBIs
Asrubal Cabrera- He is finally coming around at the plate. We all know his defense has come around.
Ben Francisco- My favorite player ever since he got called up permanently he has done nothing but hit. A .376 average in 26 games. The best hitter on the team right now.
Jhonny Peralta- Poor Batting Average. Good Power. Peralta is what you see is what you get.
Michael Aubrey- May have just been called up but I am thoroughly impressed.
There you have it there are the players that are only averaging 4.1 runs a game.
Well we need to do something to make a change. I don't think that it can be fixed internally. I believe the Indians a
The two big names that i have heard tossed around with the Indians are Brian Roberts and Adam Dunn. Both players would bring a lot more pop and run scoring ability to the team.
Roberts would take over at the lead off spot. This would allow Sizemore to move down to second or third in the lineup. This would let him drive more runners in while still keeping his scoring totals up. He would also bring more team speed which is a Desperate need for the team.
Adam Dunn would definitely bring the Big bat that this lineup is lacking. He has over 40 homeruns and 100 rbis for at least the last two seasons. Well I believe that putting him in front of Martinez in the lineup would get Martinez better Pitches. It would also relieve even more stress on Hafner who would no longer feel the need to carry team.
There is one more player who I head on Saturday was on the trading block. That would be Matt Holliday. If you are interested in learning more you can check out my most recent blog on Fannation about it here.
My mouth just Salivates at the thought of having Holliday roaming Progressive Field's left Field. I will enjoy watching him while he plays fifty feet from my seats.
Well this is all for today.
Thank you tell me what you think.
